Daniel Sánchez was born in Madrid, Spain. He is an artist and a graphic designer, and received his BFA from Complutense University.

After a long hiatus in 2016 he returns to painting complementing this activity with his job as graphic designer. Due to his extensive knowledge of the history of art, his artistic work is influenced by postwar American Abstract Expressionism, Lyrical Abstraction, Geometric Art and Minimalism.

His current work consists of a set of paintings, collages and digital prints where he shows an intimate and conceptual work, full of two-dimensional geometric shapes, textures and lyrical abstraction made with various techniques in various media, a broad panorama in which is introduced to the spectator in an ideal world from where he express his taste for Concrete Art and Abstract Expressionism that are interrelated in the contemporary artistic reality.
